Viridiana Contreras-Torres
Bilingual Advocate
Viri is a first-generation Mexican-American and has earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology with a minor in criminal justice. She has experience in immigration law and working as a graduate assistant for the University of North Georgia’s food pantry.
She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in human services delivery and administration and overall hopes to serve as an advocate that empowers vulnerable communities.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching cartoons, and spending time with her two cats. She also enjoys going on walks and making beaded jewelry.
