Supporting survivors of sexual assault.
How we can help
Bridging Hope provides a wide range of services to survivors of any type of sexual abuse or assault, no matter when it occurred. Our free and confidential resources are available 24/7 to survivors ages 13 and older, and their loved ones, in Dawson, Forsyth, Habersham, Hall, Lumpkin and White counties in Georgia.
If you or someone you know has experienced any type of sexual abuse or assault, call our 24- hour crisis line.
Education is Power
Education is a crucial piece in raising awareness and safeguarding individuals from the threat of sexual violence. Our team is passionate about empowering our community through education and awareness that provides individuals with the tools to recognize, help prevent, and respond to sexual assault.
Support Bridging Hope
Your generosity makes a meaningful difference in providing support and resources that foster healing and hope for survivors of sexual assault.
Get Connected
Bridging Hope invites you to join us in celebrating National Nonprofit Day! 🎉
At Bridging Hope, we’re proud to be part of a community of nonprofits working hard to create hope, healing, and meaningful change.
Every day, our team provides vital services, including therapy, forensic medical exams, prevention education, and advocacy to survivors of violence in our community. And we couldn’t do this work without the people who believe in our mission and choose to stand alongside survivors. 🩵
Your gift of $100 directly impacts vital survivor services, providing hope and support to those impacted by violence right here in our own community. Every gift, big or small, helps ensure survivors have access to the care and resources they need on their journey toward healing.
Today, we’re grateful for our staff, volunteers, donors, community partners, and supporters who help us bridge the gap between surviving and thriving. ✨

🎉 Belated Happy Birthday, Karla! 🎉
We may be a day late, but we couldn’t let the celebration pass without giving a BIG birthday shoutout to our wonderful bilingual therapist, Karla Barboza! 💛
Karla’s infectious smile, positive attitude, and incredible sense of humor have a way of keeping both our staff and clients in a positive headspace. We’re so grateful for the warmth and joy she brings to Bridging Hope every day!
Even more importantly, Karla’s passion for ensuring that quality clinical services are accessible in Spanish makes such a meaningful impact in our community. We are so lucky to have her on our team! 🫶
This morning, Jen had the pleasure of joining WDUN’s Conversations with John Lily and Doug Carter, alongside Barbara Fleming from Center Point and Dorothy Shinafelt from Alliance for Literacy! 🎙️
Together, they shared all about next week’s Dancing For a Cause, a fun-filled competition supporting three incredible local organizations: Bridging Hope, Center Point Counseling, and Alliance for Literacy! ❤️
We’re so excited to be part of this special event and can’t wait to see everyone hit the dance floor for a great cause! 💃🕺
Thank you to WDUN for having us and helping shine a spotlight on the important work happening in our community!

✨ Big news at Bridging Hope!
Please join us in welcoming Caroline Randolph as our new Development Director!
In her new role, she’ll help strengthen philanthropic partnerships, grow community engagement, and build the support needed to ensure survivors can continue accessing compassionate, specialized care.
We’re especially grateful that Caroline’s position was made possible through an inaugural capacity-building grant from United Way Forsyth & Dawson Counties. This investment in Bridging Hope’s organizational growth will help us build a stronger, more sustainable future as the need for our services continues to grow.
Welcome to the Bridging Hope family, Caroline! We’re so excited for what’s ahead.
TL;DR: New Development Director + a major investment in Bridging Hope’s future = exciting things ahead! 🎉

Last week, Liz (Outreach Advocate) and Jenni (Education Coordinator) had the opportunity to train Resident Assistants at UNG Dahlonega, equipping them with the knowledge and tools to support students and connect them to Bridging Hope resources. 🩵
As a new school year begins, we’re grateful to partner with campus leaders who are committed to creating safe, informed, and supportive communities for every student.
Our Education Team has been out in the community and having a BLAST at back-to-school bashes across our area! 🎉📚
From connecting with students to partnering with school systems, we’re proud to share resources and spread awareness about the free support services Bridging Hope provides.
Here’s to a safe, informed, and empowered school year ahead 💙
