Cher Gravitt, LPC
Clinical Psychology Doctoral Intern
Cher is a Doctoral Intern in Clinical Psychology and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She brings several years of clinical experience working with adolescents and adults navigating trauma, relational wounds, anxiety, OCD, depression, and other life challenges.
Cher’s therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and relational, with an emphasis on creating a space where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered. Her approach is attachment- and trauma-informed and integrates Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), TIST, sensorimotor psychotherapy and other evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s needs. She is especially passionate about helping trauma survivors better understand their emotional and nervous system responses, reconnect with themselves, and move toward healing at a pace that feels safe and manageable.
Outside of the therapy room, Cher loves running, spending time outdoors, and—most importantly—cats. She is a devoted cat lover and is rarely opposed to hearing about (or seeing pictures of) a client’s pets.
