It’s proven that educating community members about the realities of sexual assault can help lower incidents and improve outcomes and responses when they do occur. That is why Bridging Hope is passionate about raising awareness and educating our communities about sexual assault.
Our trained, experienced, and engaging professionals understand how to interact with community members of all ages, professions, and walks of life in our efforts to increase awareness of sexual assault. Bridging Hope’s copyrighted Let’s Talk© education programs are dedicated to empowering adolescents and their parents, grandparents, and guardians with knowledge on healthy relationship dynamics, personal boundaries, and laws designed to protect them during their most vulnerable years.
Let’s Talk© programs are offered to middle, high school, and college students in our six-county service area and provide a safe and open learning environment where classes are taught with both sensitivity and honesty. Bridging Hope’s trained and expert professionals work with medical, legal, law enforcement, and other agencies involved with survivors of sexual assault to help them understand the realities of these situations. Topics covered in these trainings may include: the impact of trauma, trauma-informed investigations, and Bridging Hope services.
