Madison Roberts
Programs Manager and Therapy Intern
Madison joins us with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Georgia State University and several years of non-profit experience. Her past experience includes working with survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and elder abuse, as well cold case crimes. As the Programs Manager, Madison acts as a liaison between program areas to increase collaboration and support program development. She also assists with social media management, fundraising, and special events.
Madison is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work (MSW) at the University of Georgia (go Dawgs!) and works in the therapy department as an intern to develop clinical skills. She enjoys providing trauma-informed therapy through a humanistic, person-centered, humorous and eclectic approach. Madison is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and frequently incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral skills in sessions. She feels deeply privileged to walk alongside clients in their healing journeys and to support them in feeling more empowered and resilient.
When Madison isn’t busy at work, she loves to read, exercise, and spend time with her husband, three dogs, and two cats!
