Contact Bridging Hope as soon as possible following any type of sexual assault and talk to our advocates about scheduling a Forensic Medical Exam. These exams are extremely private and incredibly important for the survivor, as they screen for sexually transmitted diseases and pregnancy – as well as establish a chain of evidence. Even if you were assaulted more than 5 days ago, it is important to obtain expert medical care, and Bridging Hope can help you obtain this, free of charge.

Individuals over the age of 18 are never obligated to report a sexual assault, and Bridging Hope staff understands that’s not always an easy decision to make.
